Information Technology Specialist, Henry Osborne, is a graduate of the Northern Caribbean University and Nova Southeastern University where he earned a B.Sc. in Information Science (minor: Mass Communication) and a M.Sc. in Management Information Systems (concentration: Security) respectively.
In addition to managing the technology needs of the Department of Computer & Information Sciences at Northern Caribbean University, he serves as an adjunct faculty where he instructs students in primarily Programming, Web Design, PC Repair, Information Security, Networking, and Systems Administration courses. He has developed, implemented, and coordinates personal development and certification courses; coordinates partnerships with industry players such as Microsoft, CompTIA, TestOut, and CIW; and manages social media/marketing activities.
Henry has served as judge of the 2008 WorldSkills Jamaica competition, mentor for the 2009 and 2010 Microsoft Imagine Cup Software Design finalist teams in Cairo, Egypt and Warsaw, Poland, and the winning team of the 2011 BlackBerry Developer Competition.
Henry enjoys reading, listening to music, and maintaining an active social media presence. He believes that “sleep is a luxury and not a requirement” and strives to make a positive impact on the persons he serves each day.
