Joan Brown Clarke is a Senior Lecturer at the Brown’s Town Community College. She received her BSc degree in Nursing Education from the University of the West Indies and a MA in Teaching and Learning from the Mico University College. She has had a distinguished and successful career in preparing the next generation of nurses for over twenty-one (21) years. Mrs. Brown Clarke began her career as a nurse lecturer at the Kingston School of Nursing and has also worked at the Sigma College of Nursing as the Director of Nursing. She has always championed for professionalism in nursing and has a passion for encouraging critical thinking in her students and has done research in this area.
She is a Christian and is married to the love of her life, Patrick and is the proud mother of two daughters.
